i have searched here and the corvette site and little to no definitive answer was given. i did see that the gl5 is a pressure rating for the fluid but no idea if they are in fact the same fluid. maybe we should start a new thread with this question or go to bob is the oil guy site and ask?

Update: I don't think they fixed it. It looks like it's still leaking :(

I lifted it up today and it really looks like it was leaking from the drain plug. I removed it and the rubber O ring was completely compressed. So I put some thread sealant on it. I'll see how it looks. It appears the dealer just torqued the shit out of the plug and called it good.
Does anyone know the part number for the O ring or plug if you can't buy it separate? Also, how much fluid does the rear end hold? Is there a vent on the diff somewhere? If so, where is it located?

Does anyone know what the part number is for the rubber O ring on the diff drain plug? I want to replace it next time i drain the rear end.
Good news, after I sealed the drain plug my leak is gone. I just did a full track day yesterday, not one drop. Thanks for nothing Felix Chevrolet!

I may have had multiple leaks, I replaced the gaskets on my drain plug, the sensor. It seems like it may be coming out of the passenger side axle seal. It's pretty dirty on that side of the diff. I might just try taking it back to the dealer and let them deal with it.

Any update on this? I have a 21 ZL1 with 3600 miles and the techs just found the diff leak during an oil change. It will be in Monday (7/11) for warranty repair. I found a small maybe two inch puddle and droplets are forming on the diff when looking at it while parked.
