I know you don't have to do the bottom end but at that point with the fueling I know there is more to get by doing the bottom end. Since my goal is 600 and the LT1 fueling is capable of 620 before failure (from some readings and speaking to a few master mechanics) I can get there safely without any issues. I'm not a burner and honestly barely get into any high boost anyway. I just want it so I'm going to take it as far as I can go and stop.

If I go LT4 and I know I can get more out of it I'm going to do it all (like you stated the correct way). Not saying I won't eventually go all the way (not planning on it) but at that point everything I want to do past that will already be done. Meaning I'll be setup to hit 800+.

I trust my tuner and his recommendations he hasn't failed me ( or the other 20+ people I talked to before even going to him)this far so lets see what happens.

This is how engines are broken and could not be more wrong.

570-580 RWHP is the HARD limit.

Let me 40+ Years building cars, and all the experienced members, know how it works out for you

I use one ethanol R in my racecar. E85 blended with race fuel. 117 octane. I was thinking about using it in the new camaro like 30% so I’d get the benefits of ethanol and the octane of the race gas. I guess the other option would be more boost and ms109 or c16. Then you get into draining fuel at race track and a lot more cost but more power

Agree with Ted and King. Going for 600 WHP on LT1 fueling and pump gas is an engine rebuild in the making…

Just make sure you add a flex fuel sensor, JMS fuel system voltage booster and proper tuning and you will reap the benefits.

Time will tell but hey everyone's build goes different routes right. It's all in the fun of it to me but I'll let you know how it goes.

Enjoy the Holiday.............

I’m pretty far away from you guys but I’m still looking for a tuner. Need someone experienced with the Lt1 and boost. My local speed shop I ordered the procharger thru doesn’t tune newer Lt1 stuff but he’ll rent the dyno to me. I also have some really nice straight roads around here 😁

I can certainly help you with remote tuning.

Ted.
