the sound of the NLS is a bit odd but its completely normal. It kind of sounds like a 2 step. Im not sure exactly how it works but from my understanding, the computer does some magic with the timing to hold the RPM.

In essence, it keeps the throttle blade open and cuts timing so you don't experience a drop in boost when you shift

What's magical in taking control over your go pedal? It's all electronic anyway.
