I just finished a chat with a Chevy agent and this is what I was told:

"Thank you for patiently waiting. We are able to see that your vehicle is produced and currently awaiting supply of semi-conductors before it is ready for final shipment. Your dealership has the tools available to see when the shipping status has been updated."

When I asked why it was waiting for parts if the order was produced, they then told me this:

"I am really sorry for your confusion. Please be informed that your vehicle is in transit already and we are waiting for the status of in transit."

And when I asked for clarification of whether it was waiting for parts, or in transit instead:

"We appreciate the excitement about your vehicle and certainly understand your frustration with what appears to be the slow pace of availability. Although we are able at any given time to provide you with only limited information about your particular order, please understand that we are working very hard to not only fulfill the orders of thousands of customers just like you, but we are working to ensure that you receive only the highest quality product."

I kept pressing, and the rep checked with the order fulfillment center, and finally came back with this:

"Thank you for patiently waiting, I contacted already our order fulfillment team and confirmed that your order is produced but not yet in transit."

The rep also confirmed that the order is still at 4300 status.

At this point, I'm not sure what to think. It seems like the reps can't even get their information straight, and it is a miracle if/when we get any useful information at this point.

Mine never had any eta an has been at 4300 for over a month. Basically the screenshot hasnt changed in last month. What did you eta change tok

Found mine at the Jack Cooper facility in KC today. ETA is June 23rd…we shall see.

They are moving lots of GM cars out of KC, daily. Everything in the facility and lots of trucks.

With GM ending the 1.9% financing on July 5, what happens to us all who have been waiting to receive our vehicles before then? Does anyone know 100% for sure what the rate is going to do?

I did tell him that I hoped that they had went ahead and ordered the correct part just so that it would get there quicker in case there was no workaround. Plus I’d prefer to have the correct part installed even if there was a workaround. So waited all day Wednesday for an update, I had no real expectations of picking up my car this day. End of day with still no update, I contact my salesperson only to find out he was off and would update me Thursday when he went into work at 12. Ugh!! I understand he gets a day off but the least he could’ve done was asked one of his managers to keep me updated, especially since he didn’t tell me he was going to be off. So my car has now been at the dealership for over a week and I continue to wait.

Nope. We've received 2 transports this week from Jack Cooper. Corvettes are still transported by Jack Cooper.

Sounds like I’m getting empty excuses from my salesman then. This is by far one of the most frustrating purchasing experiences in my life! This is my first and more than likely my last Brand new vehicle.

I wouldn’t trust that dealer at all. If you already caught them in a lie. What else are they lying about
