You should expect delay, everything is delayed these days. Things used to be predictable, time tables could be fairly accurately guesstimated. Nowadays just finding a transport truck is very difficult. Until it is on a truck to the dealership, they have no clue when it will arrive.

Car and parts delivery delays! My new SC build has been underway since early May and the blower and FP have experienced continuing delays, well beyond the original promised dates.

Chevy chat just told me car in transit as of today 6/22/22, I’m in fl… does that help on guessing the timeframe from here? (22 2ss 1le)

I'd talk to your dealer. Based on delivery location I'd bet your car is getting on a train with my ZL1. Mine has been stuck in a railyard up in MI for two weeks now. ETA was 6/26 and is now 7/16.

That progress must be exciting, congrats guys! I think it helps a lot by eliminating one more variable at least. Trucking has been an issue for a long time, so there may still be a delay in getting a truck to take your car from the railyard to the dealer, but you may not have any issues either. I bet your dealer can get an estimate for when the truck is scheduled from the yard.

In any case, good luck with the last leg of the journey and enjoy the cars when they arrive!!!

What's the name of the process the dealers use to track shipping? I was in 1100 hell for 315 days until I found a car in transit, now I'm in 4300 hell.

4300 hell...you can get what you want, just can't get when you'll get it.
