MBRP uses 409SS and 304SS in some use cases.

Its the same damn metal in terms of quality.

What determines which you need depends on where you live as far as weather zone.

If you live in the midwest like I do, you would want 304SS 409 is ok too, but looks bad on the outside after time, 304SS will not rust inside or out.

Any type of black coated exhaust you use in the southern states where its always warm and/or little salt water environment.

I refuse to pay $2000 on an exhaust system made from the same material.

The only real difference is sound and/or drone. And maybe ease of fitment

My car will not be a daily driver and will never see salt. Or rain unless caught in storm.
So material is probably not as critical as you guys near the coast.

does anyone make a quad tip non Npp axle back? I didn't get the Npp --I'd like to go quad tip and a little louder( I know Ill have to change the valence in the back)
Every manufacturer seems to have npp only in the quad tip

Borla, Corsa, AWE all have quad tip non-NPP offerings (in fact, AWE doesn't even manufacture NPP variants).

I was on fence about Corsa and awe. Thought awe didn't have the sound I was looking for but I switched after listening to more vids. Awe is being installed in next week or two

AWE is a top exhaust system. The sound is amazing, the quality and the looks are great. You won't regret it.

Too bad Gm cant sound like a Mustang. my 2018 GT with duel mode exhaust sounded amazing, I have never heard a Camaro sound that perfect. Maybe louder but not as clean.

Everyone has their own tastes as has been mentioned. I have the NPP quad tip with the giant suitcase still. I like the sound. It isn't ridiculously loud that I'll wake the neighbors in Tour mode and I like the sound in Sport for my daily commute. The only reason I have thought about changing anything on the exhaust out was to put on blacked out tips... otherwise, I am good to go.

Said no one ever, Any ls or lt sounds way deeper and better than any coyote i have ever heard. Everyone knows they are too raspy and high pitch to compare to a 6.2.

Has anyone used the GM Performance exhaust GM #84578423? Best I can tell it's made by Borla and is in line with their cost on axle-backs. Just guessing but I'd say probably in line with the S-type sound. Only difference I see is 4" tips on the GM and 4.5" on the Borla branded. You can get 20% discount if purchased from GM through July.
