Really like what you've done with your car, I think I'm going to slowly add carbon fiber pieces to the interior to hep contrast the suede. Few trim pieces and that steering wheel would be ideal.

The Wildhammer steering wheel is dope. Too bad they don't make it anymore.

I’m not a fan of the overdone CF cuz it reminds me of the Fast and the Furious movies with their stupid lights under the cars. Carbon fiber is nice if done tastefully in my opinion but that’s the beauty of this hobby and this country. Do your shit and stop worrying about what others think .. if you worry about what others think then you’ll never do anything in your life.

I agree, I think the hood insert and spoiler is enough CF.

Had a 2018 ZL1 and now a 22 ZL1. The carbon fiber insert was a must have. It was a $600 option so I do not know what it costs after market. No issues with either one.

Let's just say it's one part that is not cheaper through the parts department, not even close. 650 Canadian as option on the car or you're looking at 2500+ through GM parts.

Good choice, you'll be happy you did. Congrats on the order, exciting as hell ordering a new car. Great experience.

I think it's a must have. I've got it on my 12,17 and 22 and the 12 still looks as good as my 22

Holy shit!!!! I've never ever seen it at that price! I'd opt for entire new hood from Andersons before I paid that for the insert, or wrap in cf at the very least if in bad condition.

That said, that part doesn't look like the insert.

FYI, when the 6th gen ZL1 came out , the hood insert either came in carbon fiber painted black as standard, or for $$600 option you could get the exposed carbon fiber hood insert.

They were both carbon fiber, but the carbon fiber on the exposed, had to be very carefully laid down so the pattern was even and uniform.

IIRC, if you went to your local Chevy dealer to get a replacement exposed carbon fiber insert, it's set you back $3,000.00.
AMHIK

And very hard to come by.

It's still the case. I can see CF pattern in reflection in mine 22.
