Nope they ordered a 2022.

There's always a story....and hopes....and dreams. I "ordered" my car in Jan (you know, the 1100 status...which means nothing). Then the dealership finally received an allocation on 15 April. Next day I was 2300 and 3000. The TPW (Target production week) was set at 9 May. That date came and went with no change. Last week I received notification from GM that the TPW has now moved to 13 June. With production of the 23's now slated to begin on 16 June, that is cutting it pretty close. I could get one of the very last 22's....or I could get the shaft. I know it's not all their fault, but what a terrible way to have to do business. Good luck to all who are patiently waiting for their cars.

Jeez….. you guys are making me nervous. I don’t mind a wait, but not getting the car at all would be horribly disappointing.

Mine is currently sitting at Status 4300. However I have a line on a Shadow Grey Metallic Convertible ZL1 that is also at event 4300. Thinking of going with the vert instead of the coupe.

My dealer placed the order for my ZL1 on 5/27. At one point should I expect Chevy to accept the order and at what point should I contact the dealer if I see they haven’t accepted it?

That’s a question for the dealer. Ask if they have allocations for your car and ask how many orders are in front of you.

Where do you find out the status of your order? The dealer gives you this info?

You can also go to the chevy website and click the chat feature, then when you get past the bot, give the rep your build code and they will tell you the status

I'm at 4300 as of a few days ago. I have no idea how long it will take for them to ship to the Philadelphia area.

Yea Baby! Just got the text from my dealership: "Car Built". I know the real waiting starts now....but I wasnt sure if I was getting to this point. Now I can officially say - Waiting delivery of my 2022 Vivid Orange ZL1. Yea Baby.....wait, I already said that.

And all they will tell you is that it is in Lansing and there is no date at which the car will be transported to the dealer. Very frustrating.
