He called me back, I calmly asked if that was how they did business, he said he did not know about it, which was a lie as he buried himself later in the conversation. He tried to apologize, said he would order me a car and make sure chevy pushed it out quickly. I told him If they were the last dealership left I would drive a Mustang.
I looked on facebook for their dealership, they get nothing but terrible reviews.
Anyway Orange it is!

Now if that deal falls through on them and they call you back, you make sure you are only paying MSRP and not a dime more.

Follow your instincts and do not fall into the I want it now and regret it later. I have the Wild Cherry tint coat on my Silverado Trail Boss because that is what I wanted and I think it is a great looking color on the truck.

The choice is ultimately yours. You ordered Vivid Orange because that is what you wanted. And think of what you can do with the $5k you do not have to give to a greedy dealer!

Orange is unique. Would never pay $5k more for a color on cars like these. That's 7% of the price or whatever lol. Just order another in the Red first

What a rollercoaster ride man, that must have been disappointing. Some dealers can be such jerks.

It's why I am doing business with GearheadSS early next year on a ZL1, I'm not playing games and would pay shipping to ensure a give my money to a standup business/salesman. Being willing to wait is also crucial in this market if you want to ensure you get exactly what you want.

I think VO is beautiful and shows the lines the ZL1 very well, hope you are happy in the end. Good luck.
