If you really want to cheap out on exhaust you can go straight pipes with welded tips. Drone will be insane but loud as hell. I tried all kinds of exhausts in my previous cars, Roush, Corsa, Borla, Flowmaster, Magnaflow, Stainlessworks. However never heard off or tried MBRP or AWE before. I wonder if these are new to the game. Out of all these exhausts Corsa and Borla stand out to me with unique sound and no drone. They are very pricey though. Currently i love the stock NPP exhaust and can’t justify paying $2000 for an axleback with NPP valves. I would rather put that money towards a maggy sc in the future.

I don't think I've heard magnaflow on these cars. The gold standard no-drone tends to be Corsa and Borla, I've heard some of the Stainless Steel (think thats the brand name) ones are solid too.

I ordered a Magnaflow AB last year, but later canceled due to delivery date issues.

Just want something a little louder, but defiantly not straight pipes. I want to keep the valves. I mean duels on my last truck was less than a grand. Something deep sounding.

I have the Corsa NPP, it is deeper than stock and a fair amount louder. I love it, gets compliments even occasionally from women.

I personally wouldn't spend money on what amounts to a muffler delete, be that from MBRP or AWE. I find muffler deletes to be awfully tacky, personally. Of course it's your money so, do as you please but, I suspect you can go to any muffler shop, have them chop off your muffler and weld in some tips for much less than $1k. I had AWE Touring on my 2018 SS 1LE and I really enjoyed that but, it was non-resonated. I haven't decided what exhaust I'm going to put on my ZL1 1LE but, I can guarantee you it won't be MBRP or the AWE track.

Mbrp makes trash snowmobile mufflers. I don’t think their automotive stuff will be any better hence the big price difference

MBRP atleast last I looked had the J pipe or resonator in there to cancel the drone but yes otherwise looks like a muffler delete and I reason I avoided it.
The AWE Touring axle I get compliments on all the time. My ZL1 will most likely have Borla cat back on it but I haven't decided about Sport or ATAK. |

I tried both the MBRP and Magnaflow on my 22SS and the drone was terrible! I switched to the Stainless Works 3" cat-back system and it is great! No drone and a deep sound.

I have no drone on zl1 with mbrp. Pretty good quality IMO, but connection points are a bit sketchy. Should have them welded on if you want them on full time.
