Tune after MBRP Axle Back Install?
About to install a MBRP with resonator tubes on 2017 Camaro 2SS. Would an ECU tune be of benefit? If so, what could I expect to pay for the tune?

Unless you just want a tune for giggles it wouldnt really be of any benefit no. An axle back might get you 3 hp on these cars, but they sound great. Save your money for a tune when you have more mods! Probably looking at 500ish for a reputable tuner though!

Agreed with Enzia and Shock, you don't need a tune. Do flex fuel and a tune if you really want a serious upgrade. Expect to pay $500-$600 local or $1000+ for a remote tune with HP tuners.

Add long tube headers and E85 kit and then go get a tune.
$500 to $600 for a good dyno tune is about right. I think that if have a 2017 or newer and want the transmission tuned as well (auto trans), it will cost more as it will require HP Tuner credits to unlock. |
