Yup. The internal names were always cooler than the customer facing names.

Like our cars. Nightfall Grey Metallic is the customer facing name. Internally “son of a gun grey”.

Welp my "orange" belts finally came in today after what 6 weeks lol. I did just fronts and the color is dead nuts to the orange stitching. Might tackle tomorrow looks like seats need to come out. I already did this once when I modded my front seats to recline all the way.

As I go along I will take some pictures and will do an easy writeup when done. You Tube has a done of videos, but some guys are doing to much and others not enough info lol. In the meantime here are the part numbers and how close the colors match. I hope to be done tonight.

Sorry but the Mishimoto catch can is a complete rip off. I found this exact can for $15 bucks and free shipping. I'm sure I can cobble the rest of it together for another $15. All they did was literally not polish the inside baffle (or roughen it), added black washers for the top mount screws, change the interior baffle mount to round instead of hexagonal, give you plastic barb fittings and give you hoses with disconnects. It probably cost them $20 all said and done. It is obvious the same Chinese manufacturer makes this for both. For them to charge $219 for this is crazy. Here is a comparison video (not my video):

Pretty crazy, but I guess it's not surprising. I went with the Elite Engineering one. Had one on my 5th gen and it seems to get good reviews. Back when I got it I felt like everyone was pushing it or Mishimoto, so I'm glad I went with Elite. I even had an O-ring get pinched and they sent me like 10+ new ones in various sizes at no cost.

LoL.. true.

I just counted today and I haven't possessed it for 7 months so far. The work they have done to try and chase down the issues is amazing.

Update call today - they are taking the heads off and sending them out for blasting and microscopic inspection. If nothing found - pulling the engine and going back to stock cam and valve train, tune etc. Thinking is that in stock form - the cause might reveal itself. Bastard isnt even throwing any codes - but wont stay idling after a minute or so.

I have faith - and patience. Although, it is getting warm.
