You don't need brake cooling ducts on a ZLE, I drive mine hard on CA tracks in 95+ degree weather and the brakes with only stock pads and DOT 4 (Castrol SRF or Brembo Racing) are one of the most capable features of this car. In ~25 track days they have never faded, I did upgrade to SS brake lines I recommend this but not needed for your first days.

I don't think you even need that for a regular ZL1 correct?

No I agree you don't but he has a ZLE so that's why I specified that. ZLE has brake cooling blade things on front suspension arms IIRC, if so assume regular ZLE dues too. Brakes would be fine without those.

Chevy recommends changing it AFTER your first track event, then every 24 hours of track use thereafter. I doubt if would hurt to change it before, but they recommend to change it immediately after the first track use. I'm guessing there is a reason for this.
In the break in section on page 199 it clearly says to change it before any track driving:
“. Should the vehicle be used for racing or competitive driving (after break-in), the rear axle lubricant must be replaced beforehand.”

500 Mile Oil Change: Done already at the dealer, should i get another one before the track day?

Diff fluid change: worth doing before or wait till after

High temp brake fluid/brake bedding: deff doing this, miami is already too hot

extra brake cooling ducts install: do they make enough of a difference?
I'm assuming your going to the Speedway race track over in Homestead since PBIR's track recently closed?

Thanks for this. Having cooked the brakes on my previous car i was a bit concerned, but then again my other did not have the massive air intakes for the brakes the 1LE has. Im just gonna swap the brake fluid and change the oil to the 15W30 since i do have the sticky ass tires.

Touche!

Just seems like a lot of oil changing...
After 500 miles? Change diff oil!
After 1500 miles and want to track? Change diff oil!
Had your first track day? Change diff oil!

It may be excessive but it's because they want to make sure that any of the metal shavings that are floating around aren't there anymore to potentially cause damage.
