Yes but you can add heat exchangers as thick as a house, your still not cooling water below ambient

You aren’t running under ambient where it counts either - when the car is at WOT. They obviously recover fast. And based on your 60-130, you are barely spinning that blower. I can tell you that on a full max effort 2650 (sub 3.80 60-130) with just an ice tank and pump (stock HX’s), even with no ice in it, the MAT temp will go down during a run and end up no more than 20-30 degrees above ambient. Obviously less if you’re putting ice in it.

Yes but that's 6+ gallons of coolant, trunk space etc. Many ways to do it, adding a trunk tank/ice etc wasn't for me. It still gets hot and that's what matters. I no longer lose power on hot days so that's all i care about. I also drop BELOW ambient and a max of 10F above. Sometimes not even (depends on ambient)

I’m at ~28k, so there’s a little more heat being generated. I believe you’d want to add a tank still if you were running the blower harder. At least that’s what I keep reading about interchillers. If you get to that point, they make some great tanks that take almost no trunk room.

Like you said, different ways to achieve cooler temps. I’m hoping to see an interchiller car anywhere near the top of the quickest 6th gen’s, but it hasn’t happened yet. Some of the the quickest cars are taking the AC off now and that weighs more than a 6 gallon tank.

Hey, it absolutely still sees the street on sunny weekend days, but you won’t see me commuting in it. Lol. And to be fair, I have still gone quicker than any interchiller 6th gen (by several tenths) when it was 100% interior, AC, stock front brakes, etc.

You mean blower + nitrous hellcats? I’ve never seen one with a blower go low-8’s without nitrous as well. Relatively speaking, that’s some cool air being thrown into the intake. ;-)

My point is, your going to see better performance in the summer compared to any trunk tank, fish tank or dunk tank if you have a chiller. You’ve missed the entire point. There’s a huge difference in 140MAT temps to 90F. That’s what my topic was about. I can care less what or who you race in the 1/4 and who has a chiller and who doesn’t.

I never said i didn't have them. I said it was stock before the chiller went on. I've had expansion tanks in between, I've had updated exchanger's on my other car. Your still missing the point... 95F water temps going through a blower compared to 34F water is a huge difference. Unless your car can defy the laws of physics you are still not cooling water below ambient. Also isn't adding an ice tank and ice the same thing as super cooling the coolant like a chiller? An ice tank is good for 1/4 mile racing, no one is going to be dumping ice in their car driving around just to have to drain it every day, and ice lasts what? 30 minutes. Please stop comparing a 1/4 mile car to a street car.
