In the same boat, though I'm thinking of keeping the Brembo pads due to how well the brakes work. But I'm getting rid of the wheels as soon as I can. There's way WAY too many spokes on the ZL1 wheel. Just makes cleaning a pain in the ass.

The one take away is that when they're dirty, you're the only one that knows they're dirty, other people see black wheels. One option is to use a big washmit, but you'll need to really soak the wheel/mitt with solution so you don't tear up the wheels.

It sounds so much better! not too loud at idle, which is a good thing - it has all the sounds a muscle car should have without being as loud as the ATAK or borla systems I had in the past. no drone

I can see myself wasting some gas with this because it sounds so good!

Your logic is undeniable.

Installed the Anderson Composites trunk (double sided decklid w/integrated spoiler) on my 21 ZL1 Love the look of it. Install wasn't too bad but I did have to use the dremel to open up the 3rd brake light opening and also modify the slots where the latch mechanism hooks into prior to screwing it into place. Did a fairly in depth install video for anyone else planning to do a cf trunk install, may be useful!

Overall fitment was really good... nice even gaps after some adjustments with the hinges and latch hook/etc and some tweaks to get it lined up. Very happy with it! Also good for about 15lbs of weigh savings (if you care about that) from the stock ZL1 trunk/spoiler.

Quick photo of the trunk on the car...

Celebrated the one month anniversary with a cruise through Saguaro SP with some significantly better photo ops than my driveway. Gates Pass is a lot of fun, even without exceeding posted limits by a lot...sort of.

I wish it was shinier, but my battle with AZ's dust continues.

Foam cannon & pressure washer came in, gonna give those a whirl this weekend. Debating taking a stab at applying ceramic.

Nice, you should have fun. I wound up adding a spotless rinse tool to my arsenal. It really kept water spots from forming, and as I didn't spend so much time drying, I had more time and energy to clean the wheels and trim pieces.

What soap are you going with? I tried the Meguiars soap from Costco and found that it didn't give me the crazy foam that I got from Chemical Guys.

hmmm. I'll have to look into that. There's no shade at the house so it's always washed in direct sunlight so spotting is almost guaranteed Unless I do it early or late, which I'll pass.

The soap I think I grabbed a small-ish bottle of the CG Honeydew

Nice, the Honeydew is good stuff. I user their grape version. I found this item, which is quite a bit cheaper than the system I bought. AQUATICLIFE Deionized Spot-Free Car Rinse Unit - Premium Water Deionizer for Car Washing - Spotless Car, RV, and Motorcycle Wash System Buying the resin can be a little annoying and pricey, but not having to deal with the riff raff at the car wash, and letting it dry to a sparkle without spots, I found it to be money well spent.

Hmmm. I might have to look at that. I’m pretty sure our water has a ton of stuff in it.
