I just checked my ZL1 1LE order this morning and still no real update.
Place my other August 2nd last year. Currently I'm at status 2030 since the A1Z RPO is still on constraint for the rear wing.
Those that were able to get order confirmations for May build dates, make sure you're still getting the 1LE pack and not just the standard ZL1. My dealer told me they could get a ZL1 w/o track pack built in a couple weeks time since those are not on constraint.

Yep, that's why I put in the order for the '23 (and I have an order # with 1100 status confirmed, just no pricing at this point in time). I don't expect the '22 to come to fruition but we're leaving it open just in case. I doubt it'll happen for '22 and that's why I wanted to get '23 on order. Now it's ready for when the next allocation becomes available for my selected dealer.

I'm thinking of canceling my 22 order (IF it is for sure dead) and picking up an existing Charger Hellcat (I have 2 kids so this makes a bit more sense, anyway)...talk me off this ledge, please. LOL

If GM were run more agile, they could create an "R" package that was devoid of ALL unnecessary electronics, just shove in all the performance gear and that could be their "farewell edition". They could market it as a "no frills" Camaro and forego as many microprocessors as possible. This would at least allow them to run their line at a little more capacity, and hell it would make for an interesting tribute edition.

One could say 'they tried this 7 and 8 years ago' with the Gen5 Z/28....they almost couldn't give them away two years after they were built...I don't think GM would support this, especially now...When the Z/28 was 76,150 (with A/C and radio) that was REALLY expensive for a Camaro...look at the price of a ZL1 1LE now and all the goodies it has...it is less money TODAY than the Z/28 was that many years ago...I'd hands down go for the ZL1 1LE if I wanted something 'that hardcore.' I love the DSSVs on the Z/28 but can't get behind the aero on the 1LE for me when I'm not tracking the car...regular ZL1 it was...

Not sure where all the fake news about ordering a 2023 is coming from?
But order banks are NOT OPEN for 2023.

Leonard No such thing.
If these guys believe GM automatically rolls over a outstanding order for a 2022 they are sadly misinformed

I have an order number and my dealer placed the order without me going in. We will know on the 28th what constraints are out there.

I’m not talking about orders rolling over, because I know that doesn’t happen. They have order numbers on new 23’s. My dealer has already placed stock orders for 2023 Camaros. Where did your information come from?

Having owned a 2021 ZL1 and a 2022 ZL1 and a Z06 on order.
So I can say with experience my Dealership is Dialed in and in the Know.

None of those three cars have anything to do with a 2023 Camaro order date? If you aren’t ordering a 23, what does it matter?

2023 Camaro production is scheduled to start June 6th. If that happens, they will need orders before mid June.
