Why? If done right and a color you like what’s the problem?

yes if you cant afford it and its done right with a full dismantle. also id still PPF the front end because vinyl does not protect at all and can chip and tear easy.

I helped a buddy wrap his shelby a long time ago. it was kinda fun. the vinyl back then was not as good as it is now even... he keeps his car outside. the wrap looked good for at least 5 years, and he really neglected it. he kept it on the car for a few more years and it was fine but you could start to tell it was on the car for a while but I feel like you really had to look close. he pulled it off and the paint was like brand new obviously.

he got one of the thickest vinyls available, but it still is not as thick as ppf, and so rock chips easier than ppf and he definately had some chips in the vinyl and some that chipped the paint.

if the rock chip protection was better, i would probably do my camaro myself. probably would take me a few weeks with the little i would work on it every day but i dont mind.

I guess I was wrong about thinking the wraps would affect the paint under. Just something about it I can't get over, I'm not sure I trust a shop to remove body panels, bumper covers, or what ever is necessary to do a proper job, especially on a new car. I suppose I'm just a worrywart...

Nice! Sponsored up the ass! Looks like it should be in the Trans AM TA2 circuit.

Edit: found it. That rear diffuser is mighty spendy!

Most people think we are anyway just for driving a car like this. Wrapped or not so I guess I don’t see how that makes it any worse.
