Did you notice any difference with the CAI?

Today I pulled it into my driveway in Georgia for the first time, after Buying it from JoeP in Detroit yesterday. 25 nervous miles, 675 great fun miles.
I came back in from Tennesee via some great twisties, and it was a lot of work staying under 4k RPM's, but I managed to. Grinned from ear to ear, maybe giggled a little.
Fantastic car, great guys at the dealership.

Tomorrow, a bath, and oil/filter change.

Congratulations, you're not the only one with the giggling At 700 miles, I'd definitely give it the full beans after the oil change.

Absolutely the throttle response is snappier for sure and you definitely can hear it sucking air! I have only driven it maybe 25-30 miles around town and just got back from the shop having the Eibach springs installed. Side note these springs in my opinion improve this car making it even better than stock.

Little ding in the right quarter. Gonna be $175 for a PDR shop to get it out. She needs a wash. She also needs a nice set of 19's. God I hate these wheels, especially having to clean them constantly with the Brembo dust. Got the window-roll-down at a traffic light and a guy in a pickup complimenting the car. Decent day. Have to gas up on the way home.

Went to garage admired it and then went back inside the house as it's snowing here in southern Wisconsin today.

Hey... Hey... Hey... You selling my wheels??

What did I do with my 6th Gen today? Nothing, leaving it in the storage unit. Snowing again here today and city dumped more freaking salt on the roads. Truck dumped a pile by accident in front of my neighbors. Must be 10 gallons of salt sitting at the end of his driveway.

Haha, you forgot to pay storage fees for 2022, so all bets are off, first taker gets'em ...can still be you, just get off your butt and come drive down here into 65-70 degree bliss

Of all the things that inflation has made much less affordable, I hope the price of road salt goes waay up and then maybe townships will reconsider the amount they spray/sprinkle/DUMP on your streets. Heck, they spray some brine even here, but it's just once or twice a year and that stuff goes away relatively soon.

Storage rent check is in the mail...

Ya, don't even get me started on the amount of salt and brine they use here. I was also just commenting to my wife on the way to the grocery store this AM. The pot holes in roads from the plows... Man, some of them are big enough to take your Camaro wheel right off the car in the spring. You really have to watch it until they get them filled back in, in spring.

If I'm being honest, this time of the year is tough for me to not want to put my car up for sale. I've had a lot of bikes and sport cars over my years and I always seem to end up selling the sport cars. After they are tucked away for 5 months, by this time of the year I always end up questioning myself why it is I hang onto them. Then I sell them and go for a few years without... Then repeat... LOL.. This time though... I have an affection for this car that I never really had for the others... ( Minus the 82 Celica/Supra I had). That car I hung onto for about 10 years.

It’s seriously out of control how much salt and brine get put down here in Mass too. Unreal!

And yes, the potholes are equally insane despite crazy taxes…

Yep... Every year the taxes go up and every year the roads are in worse shape.
