I thought of this. I know pulling battery does reset some stuff. would this also reset the transmission tables? why does everyone keep telling to to do the opposite of what Chevy says to do for break in? LOL

You still getting winter blend gasoline in NC? I average 14.7 mpg and record all my fillups on aCar app

So my buddy is reading up on others that have had the issue. some are saying could be a faulty injector? what do you all think. could that account for bad mileage and the hesitation and boggy feeling at starts. oh and it also sorta struggles to start a bit takes it a couple cranks to start does not start right up.

and just asking but what exactly does this fix? I mean if there is a engine problem which isn't out of the question. they do make bad cars from time to time.

When you pull the battery cable and let it sit for a bit, it should force the ECU to reset the fuel trim tables it has stored. When you reconnect and start up again it will relearn new air fuel mixture values based on your environment (air temp, humidity, etc.) It is not a bad idea from a troubleshooting perspective.

As for the break-in you will get a lot of differing opinions but do whatever you feel comfortable with. I took it a little easy for the first 500 and then found a few highway on-ramps and did some nice pulls. I was getting 3.7-3.8 0-60mph, 7.8 sec 0-100mph and 11.5 sec 1/4mi times using the built -in timer. That seemed about right considering I was spinning a bit during launch.

The best my ZLE gets is 14 mpg on average. My Z06 gets an average of 22 mpg.

ok thanks yeah ill pull the battery in morning and give it a shot. I do have a obd reader ill use that in the AM cant hurt.

I have also read several places something about bleeding some line on the supercharger that cause some acceleration issues? could this be the issue?

At this point I think you're getting way ahead of yourself. Take it step by step; reset your battery and see if that helps.

If that doesn't and you don't want to wait for break in period to be completed, take it to the dealer for them to check.

Just my take.
