Exhaust Questions

So I should be having my 2022 ZLE delivered sometime in the next month or two, I had a 2019 ZLE I foolishly sold a year or so ago.

On my 2019 I had the AWE Touring Resonated with the PLP's, but I have realized in the interim that someone in the government decided the biggest problem plaguing America was the elimination of secondary cats and now it appears no one makes systems that just bolt up to the headers (eliminating the 2nd cats) without cutting.

GT Haus does appear to still make the style that bolts up correctly, however it's nearly impossible to find much info on these as the cost has naturally kept adoption pretty minimal it seems. I am guessing if I get the system without valves (I'm not super excited about their vacuum style setup) that it's going to be lot louder than my AWE was?

Are there ANY other options short of custom work (and I doubt I'll find a shop that will do it anyway) that eliminate the 2nd cats and bolt/clamp directly to the headers like my old system?

Thanks!

EDIT: I also don't love the weird vertical "bars" the GT Haus/Meisterschaft system has in the tips (for seemingly no reason that I can discern)...I have emailed them to see if they'll make a system without them for me.

I did a lot of research on this - in light off discontinued secondary cat delete by borla etc. This is one company that I found that makes what you are looking for - https://www.shopmrt.com/Version-2-Qu...3-p/92u843.htm

Conceivably you could get the front parts and mate that to a Borla or other NPP axel backs. That’s what I was thinking of doing.

I have a non valved GT Haus exhaust for sale if your interested. You are correct in assuming it’s loud. I’m going back to stock as it exceeds the decibel limits of the track I go to.

Shoot me a DM if your interested or have any questions. It’s still on my car so I can send videos.

What? When did this take place? Are you talking about the atak cat back systems or what? Forgive my ignorance on the subject but just got my ZL1 few weeks ago and just now looking into some items.

The secondary cat delete pipes that used to be made by borla and others are not being made anymore. Now their cat back start after the secondary cats and require a cut to be made.

Is the exhaust for the SS (6.2L NA) exactly the same fitment, etc. as for the ZL1 (6.2L S/C)?
