Almost no chance the Corvette colors make it to Camaro. Especially Caffeine.
Hmm, and my salesman was so convinced that the Corvette colors are the same as the Camaro colors. I figure with the Rapid Blue being available for both, it made sense. I do think that Caffeine color may look interesting on a Camaro, but it does look a little more brown. I'm just glad I got my WC before they killed it.

not sure where you pulled this information from, but GNT was a fairly recent blue

GNT WAS a paint code from GM Australia. Notice it's for the SS, Caprice, etc. That's because it was a Holden color.

I'm a Chevy dealer so I have access to paint codes when they become available. GNT is now a new red color for GM North America.

I guess all other three-letter combinations were taken and they just had to recycle this one for a completely different color, throwing a wrench for those who'll search for touch-up paint in the future...

Thanks for sharing. I went and looked at Radiant Red on the Chevy website on the new Blazer promo. Looks like it will be an awesome color for the Camaro. Wild Cherry can look oddly dark in certain light, this new color seems like its a little lighter or brighter is maybe a better word. Excited to see it on a ZL1 and see how it looks.

The number of GNT cars sent to the US is pretty small so I doubt they really care.

Besides, paint shops and touch up guys don't use that code when they look for paint. They get the WA-*** number.

Looks like MORE pop than wild cherry. That is great news, I may have to order one.

Will definitely be interesting to see how they evolve that hue of red. I look at the Garnet Red and see the minor tweaks they did to get the Wild Cherry. That Caffeine color on the Vette does seem to follow their progression, but maybe it just didn't look good on the Camaro. I like how Rapid Blue looks on the Corvette but it just doesn't have the same look on anything but the higher trim Camaros, IMO.

Caffeine is brown so I'm not sure why you're bringing that into the conversation with these reds.

GM has always had metallic Red tintcoat colors in the color pallettes since at least 2007 with Red Jewel Tintcoat and a Metallic Red Tintcoat has always been available on a Camaro since 2010. Caffeine is definitely a Brown, might be interesting to see on a Camaro but not sure if it would look good or not.

I look at it on the Corvette and it doesn't really look like a true brown, IMO. It looks like the color of coffee or coca-cola, with just that slight red tint. Does seem like a bit of an odd color for the Corvette, but someone has greenlighted it for the Corvette. Would be a weird color to make exclusive to the Corvette

I'm guessing you've never paid much attention to past Corvette colors. The Corvette has always had exclusive colors.
