Nice pics. I think I have to drive about 6 hours to get to any sort of non-flat terrain like that. Any nice twisties in that area that put a smile on your face?

I've seen the 500 mile oil change interval, but didn't know if that was per the manual or per recommendations here for the LT4. Yes and no. Usually if you get pulled over for something else they will tag you for it. But out here in the desert I think they are more lenient because the sun is so harsh.

I pulled the car out of the garage, installed the Mods4Cards 1-touch top controller, my OEM windscreen, and the Sto N Show front plate bracket for whenver my plates actually show up (I'm on my 3rd temp plate).

We're looking at three chances at hitting 60* this week, so time to get the car ready. Taking it back to the dealership tomorrow to have the OEM rock guards installed that were part of my purchased but were backordered.

Installed the TruFiber carbon fiber center console lower side panels... kind of fell down a rabbit hole with this and ended up pulling the entire center console and completely disassembling it and removing the rear seats (to get the console back in). Kind of a PITA overall, lol. Here is the video for anyone interested

Been there in 2019 when I was on vacay. Nice place but I don't really see an opportunity to "blast" around there. To many ef'ing tourists.

Would be fun though if it was all clear for us to do that.

Got my Lloyd's luxe mats today, the edges match the red knee pad kit perfectly. So much better than the factory mats, better coverage and about 3x as thick.

Full BMR rear suspension minus the springs.





Found a nice deal on some valve covers with the relocation brackets.





And wrapped the intake cover. Might end up redoing this one finding a piece large enough to do the whole thing. I had to seam 2 pieces together.



Just waiting on my DS driveshaft, hopefully next week.

It was pretty quiet. A couple of cars to pass. I don't drive like a maniac on there, but the limit is definitely a suggestion lol. Had a bike rider slip between another car and I, so he and I went for a little run together. He was far more liberal with the speed limit than I was, which I understand lol

Took her in to get her looked at for some weird sounds (loose stripped bolt in rear sway bar.

Took a look at the suspension parts that came in same shop that’s doing work on her sister the Chevelle.

Ridetech shockwave E5 RidePro air suspension. This and a BBK and i’ll start spending money back on her.

Swapped in some custom red Alcantara knee bolsters with gray stitching that I worked with kropscamaro16 here on the forum to put together for me They turned out great! I swapped these in place of the OEM red knee bolsters I had which were made of leather.





You can also see the custom center console arm rest in the photo above. This was also done by kropscamaro16 in Alcantara with a little extra foam added for comfort, red stitching, and no ugly logo or writing
