Went and did a quick blast around Red Rock Canyon.

Thankfully none. Everything is fairly reasonable to maintain. Did the spark plugs last month. Only took an hour.

Here every three days. Spent $550 in the last three weeks on gas. About $800 a month. It's an expensive fluid.

And then to get that black to stay pretty is probably another $200 in cleaning supplies I used to tell people when I had a black car is that the color is the prettiest color out there, until any nearby fly farts.

Looks real slick. Too bad you can't tint the windows really dark to make it look even more "murdered out".

Would if I could but California says otherwise. The light tint I have is fine. But any darker and that's "pushing it" according to my law enforcement friends. Pretty murdered still

That is a damned beautiful color. I used to go 5%-10% darker than legal on the past 3 cars. Of course, this was back when I worked for a public safety department and I was "in the system". I think as long as you're not driving like a complete nut, if they pull you over they tend to see that you most likely got the tint because you want your car to look a certain way, they will just tell you to get it fixed. Although, if the guy pulling you over is having a bad day, there are no guarantees. I'd go 10% and just deal with any future tickets, but still looks great.

Changed the oil for the first time at 506 miles with 0W-40 Mobil 1 ESP. Then I went out for a short drive and finally went over 4k rpm. I was really surprised how clean the oil was and that the car hadn't used any oil.

Got the windows tinted. 5% all around. Might go back later and get the windshield tinted for UV protection.

I took delivery om my 2SS a week ago. Replaced the summer only tires with Michelin AS PS 4 yesterday. Took a few shorts rides. Roads here are still cover in salt. The NPP exhaust sounds awesome, especially in sport mode. Really happy about the way the car looks, handles, drives, sounds. It is a great sports car.

Nice pics. I think I have to drive about 6 hours to get to any sort of non-flat terrain like that. Any nice twisties in that area that put a smile on your face?

I've seen the 500 mile oil change interval, but didn't know if that was per the manual or per recommendations here for the LT4. I may go ahead and get one done, but I'd have to get it done at the dealership as I don't have my rhino ramps anymore, and think the rhino ramps still might be too steep to drive up on. Only problem I have with going to an oil change place is how bad techs are when it comes to getting into your car with oily hands. I figure oil on a leather steering wheel is one thing, on alcantara, has to be worse.
