Removal of front bucket seat.

To remove front bucket seat, I see two torx
Bolts in back rails, but I don’t see front bolts?
Are the access to the front bolts under the car?

the seat rails up front fit into a cut out of the car metal below. You lift up the back part of the seat once the bolts are out, and pull the seat back. Put them back in the opposite.
Make sure you dont lose the little plastic spacer that sits inside the underside of the seat rail.

I don't recall all the attachment points, but if I can remove it, I feel sure a young wrench can too.

Around the 3-minute mark. Note that the seat he strips isn't a Recaro, but the process should be similar.

two torx in the rear (T50) and slide back as the front has two metal tabs it slides into for attachment there. Make sure to disconnect the wire harness under the seat once you unbolt and gain access. It is really easy.

Thanks for all the info on removal of seat,
One other question though, disconnection
Of the electrical part under the seat, is there
Any precautions in regards to the airbag in
The side bolster,I was told that it may set off
If I don’t do proper sequence of disconnect?

I’m removing the drivers seat for warranty repair so I don’t
Have to bring the actual car into dealership, and yeah
I know, it sounds ludicrous, but they can only
Screw up seat, and not the car.

Now that's what I call an ultra defensive move Is there no dealership in the area whose service department you can trust?

(...truth to be told, shipping parts to Uranus might cost a penny)

Ugh, yeah, I have windshield glue recall and I am hesitating to call them since like a half a year ago...

I have trust issues, and if I can just give them the seat instead
Of the whole car, if they screw up, all they damage is the seat!
And as a past service manager for a large Honda dealership
I’ve witnessed many a screw up amongst the techs I supervised.
That’s why I’m inclined to take precautions because of the airbag
Disconnect, and need advice on removal.

nothing special at all about the disconnect...for exact details on the type of connection, watch the youtube above. I don't recall anything that took more than a few seconds.
