Not to mention 3 corvettes a viper and the zl1 other then that there is no American cars or other muscle cars in that top 30 list. so 4 of them being Chevy that is impressive and in good company.

An absolute classic, Sir. I rewatch this every 3-4 months to remind myself what driving a Camaro fast actually means .

When the car first hit the market in 2017 it was the 10th or 11th on the nurburgring production car list.

Seems pretty unfair to put a $70k ZL1 up against $300-400,000 cars, some are one seaters, and one recently sold at auction for over a mil!

How about a list of the fastest gas burning cars with MSRP below $100k.

6:45 ish would be my guess … the regular C8 got around the track in 7:29.9 so I can see the Z06 torch that number.

That would be only 1.7 seconds behind the fastest road legal production car ever on that track (911 GT2 RS), pretty unlikely if you ask me. 7:10 feels more reasonable, based on the Nürburgring fast production car list.

You might be closer to a real number than I was, but it’s very impressive what GM has squeezed out lately. I remember thinking 7:37 was incredible for the Z/28, and then the ZLE blew that out of water by 20 seconds. We shall see

It's a very uneven list. A 4-seat DD ZL1 versus some single seat race cars
