You poor bastards in California, almost $7 gallon already. These prices are going to cause a recession. No way this is sustainable.

So I was told, clearly I ignored that advice.

Let’s say $2.00 per litre. Check picture out with price to litres/gallons calculated. Ouch Side note: for those that don’t know Canada measures their gallons in an imperial measurement which is larger then the USA gallon.

This. Missed a 3090 founders edition at BestBuy by one person BestBuy management let one of their employees cut in line to buy a card.
Sitting in one of the Discord channels watching for drop news, ended up grabbing the 6900XT from Roguecast at around $1500. Card was great and used it for a few months, but the allure of DLSS and blah blah blah bit me (along with buggy Radeon software/drivers) and I jumped on a 3080ti at about the same price. Might switch back. Little slower than the 6900. Also managed to score a 3060 in a NewEgg Shuffle bundle which is sitting under my desk at work in a lighter build that I used for a little bit. Prices are coming down though.

I suggest everyone that's concerned about gas prices, get a Costco card if you're even 20-30 miles away from one. Premium has gone up here, but it's still at about $3.49 a gallon. In California, I see that Costco is over $4.00 but not the $7.00 that someone else claimed. The beauty of the Costco card, is if you get the business card, you get 2% back on your gas purchases. And if anyone wonders about the quality, it's a TopTier approved gas. I have used them for several years. About the only compliant I have is that it seems everyone fuels up at Costco, and you are usually in a line of about 3-4 cars to get to a pump. And sadly, there are a lot of stupid people out there that can't even manage to efficiently pump gas. It makes me weep for humanity.
And if you haven't already downloaded https://www.gasbuddy.com/ I suggest doing so. |

I will miss fry’s electronics… but the last few years they didn’t really have much electronics. Calif has taxes on their gas, that drives up the prices. I’m not sure what they cover in the taxes, I really should since I’m in CA. Hell I live 20 miles or less from the refinery and it’s 4-5 dollar range for 91 but I do live in the Bay Area and it was already expensive here. That part ticks me off it should be cheaper near refinery’s. I think they raised prices to make up for the last 2 years, I think they all, not Just gas has gone up.
