GM does a lot of pretty stupid things with design, so I wouldn't put it past them to have designed this system with a single receiver and no way to detect the specific corner that a wheel is at. Either that, or they were trying to bake in required costs for the owner so that the dealerships could charge more for unnecessary services. Neither reason makes any sense...
When I was in the army, I got a chance to roll around in a new MATV with active tire inflation systems. Could change pressures with a button. It was fun, but I’m sure glad I had the old stuff. They broke down enough as it was. I’d hate to have the truck just deflate its own tires because International or Oshkosh decided to be stupid.

Just made a short trip to town (36 mi. round trip). 5 miles out - front left triggers which was no surprise but as I turned into my driveway, the front right went out for the first time!

Maybe this can help them figure it out, but I doubt it.

I just got back from a trip to town (about 36 mi round trip). About 5 miles out, the left front tripped the sensor which was not surprising but as I turned into my driveway, the right front also went out.

Maybe this will help them narrow it down, but I doubt it.

Finally! Maybe they got it. After the last bout with both front tires loosing signal, they found that moving the ground cable around effected the signal. The receiver, I've been told, was in the right rear near the battery on the convertibles. I don't know where they moved it to but they relocated it and it seems to be working now. They 'may' have move it to the location where it would be on non-convertibles. I don't know where that is or why it wouldn't be put there anyway if it fits now.

Now with that fixed, we've got to get GPS back to working right (I think it's a bad satellite antenna connection) and now get my front camera system re-installed. It's okay though, I'm used to constant headaches now anyway!

Well, that didn't last long. Now multiple wheels are dropping signal at the same time. GPS buzzes around in circles like a bee when at certain places around town and out in the country and XM drops out on an irregular basis.

I'm beginning to hate my favorite car!!!!

Have they not outright replaced the RCDLR (Remote Control Door Lock Receiver)? Seems to me like there might be a problem with the module's internal antenna and I'm not seeing replacement on the list of what they did.

The RCDLR is supposed to pick up the signals from the sensors, then send that info to the BCM to send to the cluster for display.

You can also try and look up Service Bulletin #16-NA-396 that indicates that there were some issues with the RCDLR in a variety of 2016 and 2017 vehicles including Camaros. Not sure if your car is within the production range of issues.

I don't know if they have. They haven't said so. I'm passing this on to my service manager.
Thanks!
