I flew from Florida to New Hampshire in Dec of 2016 to take delivery of my 2017 Grand Sport on a Friday morning. I was sitting back in FLA driveway Sunday night. This is the most ridiculous thread ever. I'm LMAO.

Seems like a waste of money to me. You're going to put miles on the car that you are worried about AND are paying to have the vehicle transported. I would do one or the other but not both. |

![]() It's going to be hard for me to not drive hard and fast as I typically do for longer trips and I want to do the break in procedure correctly. |

After EVERYTHING that’s been suggested, what’s your final decision? Time to wrap it up. Again, congrats on the new ride…

Just want to do it right is all and likely over thought the situation as I sometimes do. No beef here.

I've read through that before but why wouldn't I get the car detailed? The car I'm looking to get is by the beach and has sand in certain crevices, certainly asked for that shit to be cleaned out prior to delivery. |

i worked for a AAA contractor in college a long time ago. AAA provides emergency roadside service. they dont have to tow your car home 200 miles because you dont want to drive it yourself. That truck is going to be out of the area/occupied for 8+ hours. they very well may deny you, or you may end up waiting hours to get a truck to you.
i would just drive it home. |
