squeeky clutch pedal

When I depress the clutch pedal quickly, it squeeks but doesn't do it when I depress it slowly. I thought it would be the linkage, but the dealer says it's the slave cylinder. Anyone have this?

I had a similar issue with my C6 recently.. in my case, the master clutch cylinder was the culprit. Replaced it and no longer issues.
