Thanks GearheadSS; I am a Satin Steel Zl1 1LE in 1100 status(12/31/2021)....Looks like I will be getting a call soon to swap color or abort. I already have 2 black cars and too tired to keep a 3rd clean. Oh well, fingers crossed. PS thanks for the frequent updates.

Yikes! Just put in my order yesterday and getting a 2022 doesn't appear in my favor.

I just put an order in for a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and the AT&T rep (I know I hate AT&T too) was like, "They're backordered until March", and I was thinking to myself, "big deal". Funny how after waiting for your Camaro, your patience for other backordered items is like "Meh".

Someone needs to make T-shirts (if there's not a backorder of them), "I waited (with months scratched off) ___ months and all I got was this lousy T-shirt."

So this is a nail in the coffin for my 2SS 1LE, 22 Cherry Tintcoat. I just sent a text to see if I am in line for a 23.

Sorry I don't 100 percent understand how to interpret the chart. Could someone break it down for me? For instance, does that mean that GM nationwide is only allowing 13 2SS coupes to be allocated to be built by a few dealers across the country this week? And what does it mean for certain trims not on the list, say a 1ss? So the color chosen is not a restraint? And what about the convertible versions?

Thanks for the patience guys

I've taken this to mean that if it is not on the list, it is not constrained.

Are you having a problem with allocation or constraint?

If the former, in my statewide search earlier this week to find a dealer that could get a Wild Cherry before the deadline, two dealers here in Wisconsin that claim to have a current allocation for a convertible. If you're interested, let me know and I can send you a PM with their info.

So I just put in an order for a 2022 ZL1 1LE (Summit White), it's very difficult to determine whether there's any chance this will be built, or if I need to just wait until 2023 orders open up?

Apparently the dealer only has one ZL1 on order, but it's from October and hasn't been "picked up" by Chevy they said.

Process has obviously become a little more confusing/restricted since I ordered my 2019 from Becky back in the day. :(

How exactly did you search for allocation? I feel like every dealer claims to have one. Is there a way to prove it?

Its extremely unlikely that you'll get that car and the other side of it is that they don't roll over to 23 model's, they cancel and you'll have to start all over again. And further look there at those constraints are late into Mar.

I contacted about 30-35 Wisconsin dealers online asking specifically if they had any current/open Camaro allocations. About 2 dozen responded. Most said they had no current allocation. Two of them told me on the phone on Tuesday they had open allocation, but for a convertible only, not a coupe.

I don't like posting specific info about dealers publicly, but if anyone wants the info, I can send a PM.

Thanks for the response. I really liked the world before it was stupid, haha. My 2019 was a breeze.

I already talked to my dealer and told her we would likely just have to resubmit in June or whatever it's looking like for 2023's to open up. Has a ZL1 1LE been confirmed for 2023 by the way? Has anything?
