Any feedback on whats working well would be appreciated.

Thank you
If by stock tires you mean Goodyear SCF1 3R, do NOT drag race these tires!

They are terrible for drag racing, and only have good grip at super hot (gooey) track temps after 2-3 laps. If you do burnouts to achieve temp, you'll burn through the 3Rs in one day, the tread is thin.

You'll be wasting an expensive set of one the best track tires in the world, and then they wont be good for street either.

Take the 3Rs off and get a set of MPS4S or Toyo R888R for street/strip.

I understand the car I have is for a road course but the buddies wanted me to come to the drag strip. Who knows what the car will do or how I will do but just going out to have a good time. Thanks for the great feedback. I appreciate it.

This is a short video but you can ff to 2:50 for his best pass. He was asked about the bog in the comments and basically said that he takes off at 3k slipping the clutch just right and lots of track time.

I think the point here is that the ZL1 with 1LE package is out of its element at the drag strip and will likely disappoint you. The aero and the stiff suspension will only work against you at the drag strip. If all you care about is making some passes no matter what ETs you run, you don't really need any advice here on how to launch the car, just go have fun, no matter what it runs. Hopefully none of your buds give you a hard time about it since it isn't designed for drag racing.
