Why the skip over 315 straight to 325?
I asked this in another thread but didn't get a response so I thought I'd make a new one. For all the members who have jumped to 325 on the rear, why the skip over a 315? Were there not enough options or would you have to mix/match brands? Just curious as I'll have to take the plunge for new tires before summer. thanks

Mine had 325s on the rear when I purchased. 305s on the front. The seller said it balanced out the stance due to the front is wider than the rear. Havent considered 315's. I'm sure they are just as good, just a bit narrower.

I went from Michelin 4S 325/30/19 squared to falken 660’s 315/30/19. The 315s just weren’t available when I bought the 325’s. 315’s feel good. Simple as thst for me. Still wanna try the 305’s. Bought the car used so I’m working my way around to see what works. Biggest issue I’ve had is 10 brands claim 325/30/19 and they aren’t all actually the same. 1 brand 305s could be the same as another’s 315. Brands are always coming out with new models so hard to really stick to one tire. Im personally a huge fan of Michelin’s quality but my falken for track use and spirited street driving are amazing tires. Michelin’s are awesome in there own right.
