- GM windscreen
- Mods4Cars 1-touch convertible control module
- DeadBrands Designs Build Plaque

I've got the SkipShift Eliminator sitting in my Amazon wish list, but figured I'd wait until I actually get a chance to drive it and see if that is an issue with my driving style first.

I'm going on my 3rd car without a front license plate. I've had good luck with not being pulled over for not having one. Having worked with LEOs in the past, they're all car guys except they get their own patrol cars/SUVs so it's not as if they bother with the added expense of having a personal vehicle. I also went over a year without affixing my up to date registration sticker on my SS Sedan, as I would only drive on rare occasions and the front windshield had tint on it (was never bothered about that as well). Granted, the SS was a lot more anonymous than the Camaro, but I'm hoping if I do get pulled over for no license plate that the officer will understand that it inhibits the cooling airflow, and that it disrupts the lines of the Camaro.

I have the Sto & Sho front plate bracket, my line will be "I just came from a car meet" or "I just washed the car" and I "forgot to put it on, it is right here in my trunk..."

I don't put mine on either. I've never been pulled over because of it. Have passed plenty of cops. I think if they pulled you over for something else, they may give you a warning to put it on. If that happened I'd put it on, go show them it's on, come home and take it back off.

Bingo. That’s what I’ve been doing the past year and I haven’t been pulled over thankfully.

I think with higher end cars they give you a pass. Specifically with cars that don't have a very obvious way to mount the front plate. The front of the Camaro doesn't have a plate shaped spot to mount the plate, my BRZ was the same way. Most guys if they bothered to mount used the tow hook because they didn't to drill holes in the bumper.

On my wife's Telluride, there is a plate shaped holder built into the bumper so if she were to run without a front plate it'd be obvious that one should be there.

Usually the cops are too busy to worry about a front plate missing. But at late at night they will pull you over to check if you've been drinking. It gives them probable cause to legally pull you over.

Makes sense. For the record, I was never pulled over in NJ over my missing front plate in the 3 years I owned my Camaro there. (My sto'n'sho was always in the trunk.)

I'm glad I don't live in a mandatory front plate state. Especially with how I wrapped my car. But, if I did;

I think that will depend on how the cop feels on that day. If they badly need to meet the quota...

At least it is one of those things that won't take off many points from your driver's license, if any.

I also don't like front plates but at least the fancy ones here make it less jarring. The bear license plate we can pick around here blends in well with Shock so I just roll with that.

This is kind of my thought, particularly since how I park in the garage I'll walk past the front when taking my dog out and it protrudes just enough to potentially bite a shin. If/when I get stopped, I'll just say I forgot to put it back on and quickly pop it in to appease them. Depending on if that stop is local or when traveling will help determine how often I can forget.

ETA: On the "What did I do today" front, I actually took the car out yesterday for the first drive since bringing it home back in December. It was only 26* (I'm running Conti DWS06+) but the roads were dry and relatively clean/clear for early spring in MN. I put about 50 miles on the car and enjoyed getting used to it a little bit. Played with the Active Rev Match a little bit and my first downshift caught me by surprise with the crackle, lol.

Snow/Ice coming back in tomorrow, so she's tucked back in the garage for at least another week now.
