Essex AP racing - New kit?!
Looks like Essex has quietly released a new larger swept area disk for 6Gen!?

Yes, this is correct. I talked with Jeff on these while they were in development. They found that some professional level drivers in ZL1 1LE's needed more than the standard 390 kit. This also offers a great improvement for extreme horsepower applications where you are slowing down from much higher speeds.
Right now they only offer the DS3.12 compound for this setup, and most pad manufacturers do not have anything off the shelf that will fit. It will take some time to have a greater pad selection, but for anyone that loves the 3.12, this is the kit to get |

I can tell you, I was going to help them test this. I make 825whp and can tell you after running the first 390 kit and 3.12s I needed more brake.
I'll be running this on both my camaro's this year. |
