Anyone get the GM "ground effects package"
I ordered a '22 2ss in satin steel metallic. I'm still debating on getting the splitter/side skirts in body color which is the ground effects package, carbon flash which is glossy black, or satin finish. Please post pics of what you have. Thanks.

Also it's a non 1le. The ricaro seats just aren't comfortable enough for me. I'm getting the black rally stripes on the hood and trunk lid that's carbon flash.

This is ground effects package. Both have rally stripes.

I have the ground effects package. I like it very much but I noticed that the coupe and convertible side ground effects are reversed. I thought mine were installed backwards. Both Speak99's post and a Camaro convertible I saw in a parking lot agree. The little upturn occurs in the front on converts and the rear on coupes. I would post a pic but my car is black and they barely show.

For those interested, I bought a set through this seller on eBay brand new in the box and make an offer for 750 and he will accept it. Hell of a deal compared to GM MSRP. eBay number 193835411957 he also has the single exhaust set too.

I ordered splitter/side skirts in satin black but not the ground effects pkg. Don't know if there's a difference, seems the same to me regarding splitter/side skirts.
I test drove a used 2020 with splitter/side skirts and it looked very cool. I'll let you know what I think when my arrives, but for what I was going for, it was a must. |
