SPL suspension bits
For the track guys out there, what SPL components have you purchased and installed? I think I've got the rear figured with eccentric lockout kits and upper arms and tie rods.
More interested in the front end setup, and is the large expence worth it. This stuff is not cheap! Cheers Last edited by Crushed 1LE; 01-29-2022 at 08:14 PM. Reason: Spelling |

Went with lower control arms, front tension rods, end links, and rod ends (haven't installed yet) in the front. My castor was off by about a degree and wanted to fix it but oem's have no adjustment. Figured what the hell with the rest. Also got everything for the rear except their heim bushings for the knuckles. Was having issues with rear toe getting out of wack as well. The toe rods and upper camber arms have the lockout which is really nice and seems to work so far as my alignment still feels great. Car was great before, now its a bit tighter and more responsive which I didn't think would be possible.
Was it worth it? Probably not for most as many would rather spend it on power, but I got exactly what i wanted out of it so it was for me. Eliminated factory deficiencies and removed any rubber out of the suspension. Also most of their parts were lighter than factory and seemed stronger, the reduction in unsprung weight is nice too. Not a lot but every bit counts with unsprung I believe |

I have the entire setup and it's great. Expect two things; one they don't have a solution to retain the air dams(didn't install it after seeing this), and the bolt is too long to run 18's without modifying it (PITA).
I really would have liked that they did this research prior to making or providing a solution for these issues on their parts. This is a racecar company making parts for the stock setup and not track-focused owners. |

I only have the SPL rear toe arms and eccentric lockout. Worth every penny.
Proof was after track days where my toe was intact.

I have all the rear SPL components except the bushing and all I can say it's worth it and your alignment guy will love you. It's easier to align and it stays put. I will be doing the front in the near future.
