My concerns are with the availability of and the price of gasoline going forward.

A valid concern, but the same can be said of electricity. Remember, the same people who brought California 5 dollar gas (if you're lucky this summer) are the same people remodeling your grid into their own utopian images. Your electric prices are already double or more much of the country for a reason.

BlaqWhole, I'm sure some things your saying is very true as well as others are saying also, but in 10 years no one will remember the LT4 platform? LOL !!! I only posted what's going on to encourage some to hold on to your ZL1's or V8's no more no less. You do know they still make carburetors right ? Aftermarket wise, history lesson the V8 will never be forgotten, unless people like some here thinks it's irrelevant, the chevy 350 was a game changer, the 454 was a game changer, the plaid S is a major game changer for sure, the ZR1 LS9, hell the LS platform period, I think we will be able to get LS blocks, and LT blocks for years, since a sleeve block cannot put out emissions just add race parts and run it. But Has a 1970 454 chevelle been forgotten ? Or 1969 RS SS the 1st ZL1 camaro ? Roadrunner? The Judge GTO ? Those cars are more valuable today, and so will any ICE from the factory with big horsepower, or you can sale me your ZL1 for a dollar since it won't be worth anything, I'm 51 and I have turned wrenches with my teenage sons and daughter's to remind them of the value of learning to do your on work, when I asked my 16 year old son last week, do you want to go to high school in one of the toyota's or the ZL1/1LE or the LS chevelle ? Guess what he said the chevelle ! There's nothing wrong with change, just dont dismiss how we got here. And toyota , kawasaki , volkswagen and some other's are working on hydrogen powered motors so I wouldn't bet that the electric war will win just yet.

I'm just saying things for what they are. If that makes me a sheep then so what. All the name calling and anger and debating in the world ain't gonna change a thing. EVs are the future. |

BlaqWhole ! I would hangout with you anyday, with that cool list of rides, your ok with me. I'm thinking about a ZH2 or H2 myself, I have a ZX14R and had a hayabusa for years modded to the moon, GSXR 1100, 1000 so on and so on. Enjoy what ever we have, I just love a big nasty motor, and race gas smells like women perfumes to me, I cant get enough.

The EV prices at this time are also somewhat deceiving as I believe there are considerable tax incentives when buying them. They may be somewhat affordable for some but when that runs out look for a nice price bump. We'll see if these companies deliver a reasonable priced ev without the tax breaks that most people can afford. More reasonable economical ev cars are what will change the masses more than crazy performance numbers as 90% of the public probably don't care about performance. Guess we'll find out by 2035 if we make it there

I'm good with progress but not thrilled with big brother forcing it on us via gas prices, govt requirements or progressives telling us it needs to happen NOW.

No birds stick their heads in the sand. You've bought into a stupid and ignorant myth/idiom along with your perception of technology and society. Not surprising given the poor grammar and syntax of your post. Are you in middle school?

I'm saying that maybe this is all scary now. But I think once we all have our fair amount of time in the EVs we won't be looking back. Just think about owning a street legal, fully warrantied, 4 door car that can walk a 1000 RWHP GT500 easily. I mean, that kind of acceleration...!! |

The name-calling from the luddites in here is pretty pathetic. Gramps? "Baa-baa" people?
What it is with people like that, that feel as if mocking people (without even knowing who the f-ck they are mocking) is the best way to convey your point? Keyboard commandos.
