Help with order

Good afternoon everybody. Been awhile since I last posted anything about my Camaro.

I did a custom order for my 2018 2SS Camaro with Beck (May she rest in peace) and from start to finish, received my beautiful car in six weeks.

I did a custom order for my '22 2500 HD. Yes yes, I know..it is a truck. Getting tired of talking with the dealer ("it's in Chevy's hands now!) and daily chats with the Chevy web page ("Awaiting final inspections).

I am a part of the GM Trucks forums as well.

I am just reaching out...guess I am venting because I am beyond frustrated.

I ordered my truck last June. Build date was the week of 11/15. Order is ZWTJRP and their is a VIN assigned. The truck has just been sitting there since November and no one can give me an ETA on delivery.

I thought I had found a reputable dealer here in Maine; kinda kicking myself in the azz for not going thru James Martin again....

It is a '22 LT 2500 HD CC.

The truck was at 4300 status, then went back to 3000, and now is back at 4300.

I am driving our old Ford farm truck, 2wd and is not fun in the snow.

Should I just forget about it and wait till the dealer gets delivery of it?

The dealer did give me a 08 Jan delivery date with Jan 15th being able to pick it up...well...that never happened and kinda put me thru the roof.

Always been a Chevy guy...but this is getting...old.

It is just going to take time. I think there are still a few people waiting on 2021 Camaros that still need chips. This is most likely the case with your truck. Just be patient and it will come.

Your truck is on MP hold, meaning something is not finished. As a dealer we are not told why these vehicles are on hold, nor do we know when they will be finished. A lot of times these "MP units" will just show up without any predelivery notice or update in our system with an ETA. Hope this helps clear up the situation.

Cool....what does "MP" stand for?

Miss place of parts? Money pit? Misc parts? LOL
