ZLE Oil for Autocross

Couldn't find this in a search across this forum or Google, but for autocross do other ZLE owners swap to the 15W-50 oil recommended for full track use? I've never done autocross before so not familiar with what the lateral G requirements are, but based on some videos it seems with the narrower course, you may actually spend more time at high lateral Gs which would require the thicker oil.

any track use is recommended to switch to 15W-50 oil if your doing it once a year i wouldnt worry about it but if you are doing it every month or so i would definately change it

I disagree that you need 15W-50 vs. 0W-40 for autocross. There is no way you are going to hit 290+ oil temps during an autocross.

The sustained G-force with the combined oil temps is why they recommend a heavier oil for the road course.

I agree, oil temps will be lower and you won't sustain high g's in one direction for very long so OEM oil is fine.

I would get an alignment though, -3f / =2r for camber + zero toe is a good start, if you get into it you can get a dedicated set of wheels/tires.
