Snagged a 2022 2SS Convertible. How did I do on price?

I snagged a 2022 2SS Convertible with the following options:

• Automatic transmission
• Dual mode exhaust
• Red calipers
• Carbon flash painted aluminum wheels

After a month of haggling and going back and forth, I managed to get it for $50,090 or $54,250 OTD.

Here's the thing, it was considered "used" because an older gentleman bought it, drove it for a day, and then returned it because he had a hard time getting in and out of it. Only 53 miles!

I THINK I came out good here but just wanted to get your guys opinion on this. Considering they were wanting over 65k OTD (insane dealer markups) a month ago, I think I won considering the market today.

Thoughts?

I would call that a very good deal in the current market.

You're OTD price is very similar to mine. Both 2SS convertibles, except I have the manual 6-speed, stock rims, and stock calipers. My car added stripes and white accents on seats/doors.

$50,090 or $54,250 OTD. What does that mean? What price did you pay for the car? Very nice car, I have the same exact thing but in Satin Steel that I got in Nov.

$50,090 was the price of the car before taxes and fees. $54,250 was the out the door price after all taxes and fees included. So $54,250 all together.

I think you got a deal, how did they do the warranty? Is it the new car one or CPO maybe?

I get whatever warranty is left with the new one that came with it, so I think the standard 3 yr/36,000 mi basic, 5 yr/60,000 mi powertrain.

They wanted to throw in the extended warranty with their asking price but I told them I'd rather have $750 off which they eventually agreed to.

For right at the 50ball I'd say you got a good deal. When spec-ing out my 22 1SS Vert, I had a tough time keeping her under the $50K mark, but was able to do it. Don't know if I coulda pulled it off with a 2SS

Ok thanks. So you basically got a new car and paid for a new car. Very close to my price tag.

Sounds like a good deal. 2SS verts are usually around $50k period. A fairly local dealer has one in Wild Cherry & with Recaro’s for $53k I’m pretty sure it’s just optioned out a bit and at MSRP IIRC.
