I had this happen to me once also. I called ONSTAR and they remotely opened the car. You may have to temporarily join their program to get the unlock service.
Also beware that if it is in a garage, they may or may not be able to access your car as they use cellular communication to your car. 1.888.466.7827 is ONSTARS number

glad you were able to get it. I always leave the windows down when i pull into the garage. Sometimes my key slips out of my pocket and falls between the door sill and seat. When I close the door, the car will beep at me warning me the key is still in the car.
