Car Transporter Recomendations

Anyone have any recommendations on shipping a car from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania?

Seems like there are quite a few out there... would be great if one has any recommendations.... Otherwise, I would just rent a car and drive the car back, which would be my preference if it wasn't the winter LOL

Thanks

I hired Road Runner Auto Transport... Avoid them...! Avoid any company that is just nothing more then a broker. All they do is put your shipment on a global board and any place with a transport truck can move it. If you're not going to drive it because of winter... if possible, I'd leave it sit where it's at until spring and then do what you were suggesting. Rent a car and drive it back.

I too was looking at renting a car from NY to ohio to retrieve my ZL1 but prices were expensive, ended up driving wifes car out and she drove hers back and me the ZL1 cost us fuel 1/2 the cost of rental not counting fuel. Pick a good weather day or two i would do.

But it is winter, so you need to get an enclosed carrier. If you want the best treatment, don't worry about price of flexibility of schedule and instead get one of the carriers who specialize in high value cars, like Intercity. They are the best in the Northeast.

Thanks for all the input - I've reached out for quotes... Hopefully the new ride shows up before the end of the year!

Right now, as in literally today, the biggest issue with driving a Camaro in that area (my area, no less) is road temps. The car is going to handle poorly overall. You could absolutely trailer it on an open U-Haul trailer without issue if you wanted to do it yourself.

What area in MA are you planning to buy from? Stay out of Danvers...

What's that about Danvers? I live not far away, although my dealer is elsewhere for the time being.
