No Problem... pop the hood... there is a 'jump start' location... that you can hook jumper cables up to on the passenger front of engine compartment. Then use 'trunk release' and you'll be all good!

Just saw you tried to energize under the hood and didn't work. Check your connections, get better cables, better jumper... but that is how you do it, I've had too as well.

Best regards,
Dave

What Robbyrocket said, of fold down the rear seat and crawl in and release the emergency truck release handle.

ZLE does not have the seat that folds down, so that is a no go.

yes it does and I did it to mine. It does not have the remote release lever in trunk but you can use a plastic trim tool in the center of the rear seat to release it and the seat will fold down giving you access to the trunk

I posted it on another thread, but I post it here as well for future reference.

I had to disconnect the battery on my ZL1 because I was leaving for a trip. So I tied a cord on the emergency latch pull inside the trunk, I dropped the rear seats (yes, they drop in the ZL1) and when I return, all I have to do is simply pull the cord to open the trunk.

All this or you could trickle charge through your cigarette lighter with a battery minder.

Unfortunately I do not have a power line close to my car, otherwise I would have done so...

I just wonder if activating the "Transfer Mode" would have almost the same effect as disconnecting the battery. I was using this mode on my SS during the first lockdown, when the car was parked for long periods of time and I never had an issue with my battery.

You can put a battery charger on and use the trunk release on the driver's side door. For some reason the rear bumper release doesn't work with a charger.

Long dead thread, but can you explain what trim tool to use to release the latch for the back seat?

There is a key in your fob. There is also a trim piece on the drivers door handle that is removable and will expose a keyed lock.

Remove the trim piece and use the key from the fob to unlock the driver's door.
