They actually have 2 orders already waiting allocation so wouldn't take an order from me. Which I give them credit for being up front and honest.
They're one of the few dealers I've talked to who responded promptly and more importantly talked to me like a normal person and didn't use the typical sales crap to try and get me in the door asap.
Tasca in woonsocket says they've got an allocation for the order I placed with them tonight and one more.
I can't recall having a better experience w/ a dealer outside of my local one TBH (who seemed hamstrung by lack of allocation, but my order is moving quickly!). I'm a bit sad Paul Masse isn't closer lol.

I hope you can find something close. Auto's were a lot easier to find than manuals, especially since Chevy's own inventory tracker was god-awful and kept showing manuals that were actually automatics...

Wow, lol. So, order now for a 2027 delivery.

Geezus. Really?

What's up with 0 PDR allocation? 2SS will get ADAS cameras, which are more sophisticated, but not "dumb" performance recorders? Come on GM, I will wait for my car till next winter if that persists.

It's all because of supplier issues. I'm sure the supplier that they get the PDR components from is having issues right now. If it's the same supplier that makes them for C8 and they're having issues getting parts, well that's your answer.

Cosworth is the supplier for the PDR.
Is the PDR on constraint with the Corvette?

No. That was my point. If they both come from Cosworth, they will divert all resources to make sure C8 will have plenty.

It's hard to believe they cannot throw 10 pieces into Camaro bucket... Unless PDRs are the only weak links in the C8 supply shortage...

Oh I'm sure they could but on C8, PDR is standard on 2LT and 3LT trim. So basically, 90% of all C8s have PDR. They also have more sold orders for C8. It sucks but that's the halo car so they're going to do everything they can to make sure it isn't delayed.

Didn't realize this article was posted last week. With production ramping up, does that translate to dealerships getting more allocations? Or are the two things not directly related? All I know is that this sounds like awesome news to me. I'm still waiting for an allocation going on 5 months now.

There was already a healthy bump in allocations just in the last couple of weeks for Camaros. So yes, they are certainly directly proportional to each other. More production allows for more allocations.

Heard from my dealer that there are 5 PDR allocations with the latest LGR update. But, I might be getting one of the 3 1LE allocations in my zone. Beggars can't be choosers, haha.

I really wish I wanted an auto… def lots more of those in transit to dealers ready to be scooped. I know if I ended up getting the auto just to get a car Id ultimately be unhappy down the road.

Don't settle. You will always wish you were patient and got what you wanted.
