To me that looks like last week they added the codes and stated that car's built after the 15th won't have the heated/ventilated seats, but today they removed those codes/footnotes so it is not a problem anymore.

Might of been done by accident or they suddenly found inventory somewhere? Whatever the case may be it seems the correct seats should be back in the car.

Yeah after reading it again, that looks to be the case. I get it things change, but seems kind of odd they couldn’t see this coming a week in advance.

That’s good for you then, we all have different priorities. If I’m spending $50k+ it’s not something I care to forego. If this was a track exclusive toy, sure I could live without it. Looks like I can clean up my tears now anyway since they are back.

https://www.cars.com/articles/gm-ann...ortage-444306/

Above an article, thinking I also saw it on GM Authority or similar, indicates that vehicles built/shipped without the heated/ventilated seats can be retrofitted later in 2022 at GM's expense. So you'd have to bring it to a dealer, but they would be able to drop in the chip, module, or whatever is missing for the seats is how I understood it.

The heated steering wheel, however, would not be able to be retrofitted.

Hey Dylan,

Can you please update us on the constraints. I have a 2SS with a PDR that is killing me since August... Hope you had a Great Thanksgiving!

Thanks,
Mike

Ordered my 2SS at the end of July and has been in 1100 status ever since. Have 2 seperate orders at 2 separate dealerships both are in 1100 status. Both dealers say they are still waiting on allocations.
The only bright side in this whole thing is that the longer I wait, the more money I have for a down payment and the lower the monthly payments will be.

You can always skip the PDR and get a quality dash cam. It won't have the extra lap timing features but will give you the videos and and you can get the elapsed time from the time stamps. Beats not getting the car.

I used to track quite a bit, and I'll be honest, I think the PDR is pretty mediocre for a track camera anyway. About the only thing it adds is the automatic overlays, but modern GoPro cameras embed GPS data as it is, that can be used to make nifty overlays like I used in my last track footage. The actual recording footage is far inferior to a good GoPro. I just don't see the benefit of showing the gear/tachometer to be frank, nor the g-loads other than to brag or something.

To say the least, my order excluded it.

Does anyone know if GM gave out allocations/updated their constraints list yesterday despite it being Thanksgiving? Or because of the holiday does that get pushed off to today or next week?

When do constraints list updates usually update? Is it weekly/monthly?

Either way if it was supposed to be yesterday I would assume next week.

I’m late to the thread. As of late would you happen to know anything about the ZL1 1LE constraints? Heard mumblings about the rear wing ?

Thanks!

Yep I am doing the same as you. I'm ok with it now as winter is here. Don't want to be paying for it as it sits in the garage!
