Oh that's a bummer then. I had reached out to an agent on Chevrolet.com before seeing your message rrsponse here. I guess those agents don't know what they are talking about or just flat out lying to me in messanger LOL. Here's what the agent sent to me in chat:
Thank you for waiting. I have located your order ZZXG2B and can see that your vehicle is at the Event Description 2000 - Accepted by GM. This status means that your order has been paired with allocation by your dealer and the factory is in the process of ensuring it is a buildable order. Once approved, it will progress to the 3000 status - Accepted by Production Control by the end of the week and will remain at that status until production approaches on your vehicle. We recommend reaching out every 2-3 weeks for updates once your order progresses to the 3000 status - Accepted by Production Control.


I'm gonna stick with what you are saying to me Joe because I know that you definitely know what you are talking about!

The entire transaction was over the phone and email. They sent me the build, i approved, agreed terms on the phone, emailed them the details for my credit card for a $1000 deposit and i had my order number a couple of days later. Until this morning i was just hyped that im finally getting my dream car within a week. Not so much anymore.

listen, TheTexanPunjabi go physically to the dealer and ask for the general manager(sales, inventory or etc.) and explain the situation (unless they are a sleazy dealer, we all have one in our local towns) or threaten legal action (they don't like heat) and tell them it's not fair (unless you want to $10k over sticker, but i doubt it in your situation) this would happen in a small dealer, i mean how can they be the biggest dealer in town (unless they have the volume to back it up) or you can do this (it's a bit risky) let the car come in and tell them you don't want it(unless the deposit is nonrefundable) and have another dealer do the legwork and get the car for you, but it's a longshot and a risk, but don't give up you will get your dream car

that should have been a red flag (doing business over the phone/email) but Godspeed to you bro, that is what happen to me when "I" ordered a 2021 Camaro of my speciations and never got it
