6th gear slower?

so i am aware that i might have a tuning issue...

but does anyone else feel like 6th gear was better n/a at low to mid rpm?
just asking to see if its just me or this is common..
i could understand why if its because when not in boost you don't have similar intake runner characteristics as n/a but in 6th gear boost should happen right away right? as it is immediately under load.

i am assuming this is something i can fix in the tune...
and my tune is sort of a long story,

Do you have some data logs you could post up?

how much boost is it making at the rpm you're turning? i imagine the car is making very low boost numbers and seeing much less timing at sub 2k rpm vs na.

My guess is your tune has a lot of timing yanked out of it in the low/mid range area of the high octane spark table. Seems to be common with many tuners and FI setups.

If only there was something available that you could use to record what’s happening for us….

here are some logs

i believe this tune is on speed density

turns out i had a vacuum leak at the purge valve when i got this tune....

i got a second maf tune to fix original tune not knowing there was that leak and then i discovered i also ha d a new and much bigger leak where my catch can line was cut in 1/2 below airbox where i couldn't see and then car was maf tuned that way... all leaks were my fault but nonetheless i dont think i have had an clean slate tune, car runs better and more consistent obviously since i fixed them and turns out car runs best with original tune. so i have so many questions and feel bad for my tuner and myself, in the end i think i need a retune maf style with everything right, anyway this sixth gear thing just had me thinking and thought i would see if that's normal going from n/a to s/c..

says the hpl file is invalid for upload

It's timing related just as I thought. You are seeing single digit timing(3-8 degrees) on tip in the high load(0-6psi) lower rpm(18-2200rpm) areas of the timing map(bottom left quadrant). That will make the car feel anemic part throttle.

and you're thinking that's its the tuning not car doing it because it needs to and if so would it be safe to bump the timing there?

i did notice no knock retard if I was looking at it right..

also looking at the other logs it doesn't look like its doing on them ..
