i have built engine mostly and zl1 full fuel system along with dsx aux pump. it has an Edelbrock 2650 running 14lbs

sounds like it is occurring under vacuum...check the bypass valve to the supercharger and other assorted vacuum lines. Also check the brake booster vacuum line and other less obvious locations.

Sounds like a air leak someplace. Vacuum leak or maybe on the intake?
