It certainly is a reality check and it is nice to see this. It drives much of what is going on right now. If anything you spec'd out or want is on that list then you are assured of the hold up & the reason for it. Its frustrating, yes, but its also nice to have actual data versus all the misinformation flying around. The worst part is that a few weeks ago the V6 restriction(and others) had a target end date of Nov. 14th which is at least something to go on. Now, the end dates are all TBD. I dont see that being a positive thing for any of us with cars ordered that are on that list. :(

Great info!! Thank you sooo much Dylan! Please keep them coming!!! I am definitely affected by this with a 2SS on order.

All the top trims are on constraint: 3LT, 2SS and 1SE. Must be one of the features only included in those groups like blind spot monitoring or heated steering wheel or something.

Does that mean a Turbo 4 LS or 1LT would get built reasonably soon?

Your first problem was the dealer not having an allocation to even place the order for you. If you have been sitting at 1100 since early August this constraint is really going to delay things. Others have ordered cars when you did and it’s already in their driveway.

There are 1LT’s already on the lots. You might as well pull the trigger on a car that’s already out there.

I don’t know about “soon” but at least before anybody trying to order those trims right now. From what I understand any 2SS etc already past 2000 would probably still be built without delay.

I’m curious what the exact item on constraint is and how long it is anticipated to last. Was planning on starting my search for a dealer to take supplier discount on a 2SS 1LE in the next few weeks. Like many on here, I wanted to take delivery in the spring.
