My 21, is my second convertible. It's my DD and I've put 15K on it, in a year. I take mine through the car wash. We have a chain of car washes near me called, AUTOWASH. After talking to the manager of the one facility closest to me, he assured me that he's never had any issues with convertibles, costing much more than my SS, going through. So, I bit the bullet and went for it. I've taken it through the car wash weekly, for the last 6 months, with zero issues and zero leakage. This particular car wash does an excellent job of cleaning the entire car including the undercarriage, all the way to shining the tires.

I use a water proofer on my top called Protex. It's imported from Great Britain, but leaves RaggTop and 303 in the dust IMO.
